How to save private messages

WhatsApp, owned by Meta, has a feature called Disappearing Messages to protect confidential messages. Through which users can decide to automatically delete messages after 24 hours, seven days or 90 days after sending the message.

Before you send a message to someone on WhatsApp, you can decide whether the messages will be saved in their inbox or automatically deleted after a certain period of time.

But even though they could not be saved earlier, now WhatsApp is giving that opportunity. Now the user can save the disappearing message if desired.

With the new feature, users can save the 'disappearing message' for some time. But just as it can be 'kept', users can also 'un-kept' if they want. As a result, the message will not be saved on your device as before.

This allows users to distinguish between 'keepat' messages and regular disappearing messages in chat. Apart from this, WhatsApp is bringing another new feature. You can backup any chat without Google Drive.
