Internet users increased by 2 million in three months

In the first three months of this year (till March), the number of internet users in the country has increased by 2 million. The number of mobile phone subscribers also increased during this time.

According to the latest updated data of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), the number of internet users in the country is more than 12.61 million. Among them, more than 11.4 million mobile internet subscribers and 1.2 million people are broadband users.

During this period, the number of mobile phone subscribers increased by 3 million to 183.8 million.

Out of this, Grameenphone has 8.3 million subscribers, Robi has 5.55 million, Banglalink has 4.13 million and Teletalk has 6.6 million.0

Apart from Teletalk, the number of subscribers of the remaining three operators has increased.
